At Folly Road Animal Hospital and Kennel, we provide your pet with quality, professional medical services in a loving and caring environment.

Let FRAH be your neighborhood veterinarian hospital for the care of your dogs, cats, fish, reptiles and other exotic animals. Knowing that your pets’ health is important to you, we will always be attentive to their needs, as well as yours. To do so, we encourage you to discuss your questions and concerns with the FRAH staff, who will do their best to provide clear and precise answers.

We are currently developing our website to aide you with your pet’s specific healthcare needs.

Our hospital is located on Folly Road approximately 5 minutes from the James Island connector or 5 minutes from Folly Beach. Led by Thomas J. Sheridan, DVM, the FRAH staff includes two front desk assistants, an office manager, three veterinarian assistants and five kennel assistants. In addition to his private practice, Dr. Sheridan has consulted for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the College of Charleston and the South Carolina Aquarium.  He helped develop the Sea Turtle Rescue medical program at the SC Aquarium and was an invited speaker at the 25th International Sea Turtle Symposium.  He has volunteered his time with a variety of humane society and wildlife rescue groups.  He has volunteered as an adjunct professor in the Masters in Environmental Science program at the College of Charleston, and developed externships for veterinary students.
